In order to do a portrait I need one great quality, relatively hi-res photo of your pet, but it's helpful to have multiple photos at different angles to comprehend how to build up specific areas of the portrait with unique dimension. I then needle felt the exact pose of the chosen picture on a heavy piece of felt wool in a color you choose from my samples.

150 resolution or higher is ideal, BUT lower resolution may work if the lighting is good, focus is clear and your pet's face is the majority of the photo. I've worked from plenty of pics taken from newer model phones and the quality has been good.

Please be sure to have the majority of your pet's face in focus. I can also make things intentionally out of focus with my fuzzy wool fibers, but I try to limit this to small areas.

Natural sunlight is ideal and light shade is best.

Whatever angle shows off the best aspect of your pet is a great angle!!! Creative and fun results will come from playing with this, so please consider breaking some traditional portrait rules.

Heavy shadows, harsh sun, low light and grainy (lo-res) photos.

I currently offer an 11.5" x 11.5" piece and a 6" x 6" piece. I plan to offer a larger size in the future.

I am open to looking at this option, but like to leave it to my discretion. It doesn't always make sense to place multiple pets in a composition, but I can try. My fees are charged per pet.
